A Chicago native and graduate of Dillard University, Mr. Bradberry is a community organizer and was also a public school instructor working with children from early childhood through high school. In 2005, Mr. Bradberry was awarded the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for his work on behalf of the victims of Hurricane Katrina. In response to the BP oil drilling disaster, he is advocating for federal initiatives that partner with affected communities, their local authorities and organizations to address the crisis affecting the health and livelihoods of thousands across the U.S. Gulf Coast.
