KNACKEBOUL AT SCHOOL SCREENINGS OF "M.I.A." @ HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL ZURICH

You may know him as a Swiss Rapper, beatboxer, and freestyler, but Knackeboul is many other things. Slam poet, comedian, musician, composer, producer…he is all that. What you may not know is that he is an active supporter of human rights, fighting against human rights violations alongside NGOs like Amnesty International Schweiz.

The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation is very excited to invite Knackeboul to speak with students at this year’s Human Rights Film Festival in Zürich. He will be joining us for school screenings of the documentary film M.I.A., which charts the artist’s [M.I.A.] experiences of civil war and migration on her rise as a popular but controversial star. Post screenings, he will sit down for an open discussion with students. The school screenings will take place on Friday, December 6th and Monday, December 9th, 2019 at Kosmos in Zürich.

Want to learn more about Knackeboul and his fight for justice? Go and check out his website and YouTube channel, and watch this video from Amnesty International.

Are you a teacher or student in Switzerland that is interested in human rights education? Do you want to attend a school screening? Register your class through Schule & Kultur. Student tickets are only CHF 10 and the registration deadline is November 14th!
